Useful by default

More than a link-to-file button

The web interface uses the same MediaMate API as the mobile clients, with a workflow designed for quick downloads and practical conversions.

01

Video quality selection

See the qualities detected for the source and choose the best available option or a smaller resolution.

02

Audio extraction

Switch to audio and prepare MP3, M4A, OPUS, or WAV without downloading an unnecessary video file.

03

Time-range cutting

Enter start and end timestamps to create only the section you need instead of keeping the full file.

04

Source format details

Inspect detected containers, resolutions, frame rates, approximate sizes, and audio/video stream information.

05

Works across devices

The same responsive page works on desktop and mobile browsers, while the API remains reusable by Android and iOS.

06

Private temporary delivery

Production files are delivered through short-lived private download links rather than a permanently public media bucket.

Three steps

From link to download

1

Paste the link

Use a public video or media page URL. MediaMate analyzes the source without starting a download.

2

Choose what you need

Select video quality and container, or switch to audio. Enable Cut if you only want a specific section.

3

Prepare and download

The server processes the requested format and gives you a temporary download link when the file is ready.

FAQ

Common questions

How does MediaMate work?

Paste a public media URL, choose Get formats, select video or audio settings, then prepare the download. If you only need part of a file, enable the cut option and enter a start and end time.

How many sites are supported?

MediaMate uses a media extraction engine with more than 1,000 supported site and media-source extractors, plus generic embedded-media detection. Support can change when third-party websites change.

Can I download only audio?

Yes. Choose the Audio tab after a link is analyzed and export to MP3, M4A, OPUS, or WAV when the source provides usable audio.

Can I download only part of a video?

Yes. Turn on Cut before downloading, then choose the start and end time. MediaMate prepares only the requested section using FFmpeg-based processing.
